Temperatures do not vary greatly throughout the year.
The average daytime temperature is of about 26°C from June to October and around 35°C from December to February, however because of the high humidity, temperatures often feel hotter.
The winds and sea breeze are often of great relief expecially on the east side of the island.
The main rains fall are in April-May, and there is a short rainy season in November.
It however does not rain every day in these months, the average number of rainy days per month in these months range from 8 to 11.
